At our school we are selling beautiful, lovely chickens. They are very nice  and they eat greens, grain, water and green scraps. The chickens are all different colours the chickens are very fit and healthy, they have been well looked after .

My writing goal is (have you changed it, why?) - my writing goal is to put chunks and rims in my sentence i chose this goal because i have not been doing this in my sentence .

I practise this by… putting chunks on the end of my words.

A piece of writing I am proud of is…. My story starters that we did in class with the video at the start.

In maths I am currently learning (how do you feel about this, what are your next steps? Give your parents a rundown of what we do as well)…we are learning to add big numbers and my next step is to times big numbers .

Do you have any other goals you would like to share, what are you doing to achieve them? My handwriting goal is size i am achieved this goal by practising it he in my handwriting.

What has been the best part of 2017 for you?
The best part of 2017 was Camp because we went to the pump shed and went for a big walk.

What is something you have been proud of in 2017?
Handwriting because it has improved a lot from last year.

What do you think that good learners do
Good learners work together as a team.

What is one way that you show that in class?
The way to show it in class is that only one person should be talking at a time.

What is one Toko Learning Star that you would like to work on and why?
Well being because i need to have more pride in myself

I am working on my writing goal which is put full stops in the right places.

If you were going to give yourself a message for learning in 2018, what would it be?
To get better at reading because i want to get in a higher group.

Bike safety

Goal- Recount what you learned at bike safety

Goal-put capital letters in the right place.

On Tuesday we had bike safety at Toko School with Senior Jono.

First he told us all about a bike, the middle of the bike is called  a frame. After that we went outside and got our bikes then we went around the basketball courts pretending it was a road. There was a roundabout, a ramp and a one lane     road. Finally  we went around that for half an hour  then we went down to the backfield and had a race. Declan won the fast race and i won the slow race.i liked bike safety because it tot us all about the road.  and then it was over.

Business reflection

Over the last few weeks we have been researching and looking at websites about our business. My group is looking at making a nest for Fluffy feet. I have learnt that you have to make sure that the  nesting box is not to hi of the grand. We have decided that we will work together as a whole class to yos personal best to work at our business so we can get further. We will be trying to sell chickens,make graphs,make grain,compost,build nesting boxes and growing food.

There is a monster in the toilet.
Sam borrows his sisters phone.
The monster comes out and snatches the phone off him.
He flushes himself own the toilet.
He chases the monster down the sewers and Ends up at the monster's cave.
He Shows the monster something funny.
Then he gets his phone back.    

Goal- choose and retell my own story.  Write a story with a clear beginning,middle and end .                                                                Put capital letters and full stops in the right places.

In Sam's toilet there is a monster, not any monster, a sewerage monster. One day Sam borrowed his sister's phone she had a cool fart app that could make the most funniest sounds. He was laughing so loud he did not hear the sewerage monster come out of the toilet. Then the monster grabbed the phone and flushed himself down the toilet . Then the only way to get the phone back was to flush himself down the loo too. Then he followed the monster to his cave. He creeped up behind the monster and then the monster started to make the fart noise on the app. When the monster was laughing at the app Sam creeped up behind the monster and grabbed his phone..

The invention.

Goal- Retell a story in my own words.

-Use my capital letters and full stops in the right places.


Hemi had to mow the lawns every weekend he did not like mowing the lawns but he did not have a choice. He said there must be another way of mowing the lawns.
So Hemi decided to make a great machine. So he got some string , a laser, a blender, a nose trimmer, a steak knife and a computer. Then he made a great machine, it took him all night.

 In the morning Hemi took his machine outside .Then Hemi’[s robot actually worked, Hemi could not believe his eyes when his robot was mowing the lawns.  He was so relieved so he chill-axed on a chair, then he fell asleep then he was woken up by some grumpy people. Oh no where did Hemis machine go?

 Then he went into town and saw big buildings on the ground. He saw all the cats and dogs chasing his machine. Hemi got chased by all the people in town. When he got his robot the robot went up in the air, then Hemi tried to yank his invention down but it did not work. Then he started to rise up in the air and then he went past the clouds and as soon as you know it they were up in space. Hemi got his machine and switched it of. Then they were flying down from space like a rocket and they landed right on the trampoline and Hemi quickly put his invention away so his dad didn’t know.
