At our school we are selling beautiful, lovely chickens. They are very nice  and they eat greens, grain, water and green scraps. The chickens are all different colours the chickens are very fit and healthy, they have been well looked after .

My writing goal is (have you changed it, why?) - my writing goal is to put chunks and rims in my sentence i chose this goal because i have not been doing this in my sentence .

I practise this by… putting chunks on the end of my words.

In maths I am currently learning (how do you feel about this, what are your next steps? Give your parents a rundown of what we do as well)…we are learning to add big numbers and my next step is to times big numbers .

What has been the best part of 2017 for you?
The best part of 2017 was Camp because we went to the pump shed and went for a big walk.

Handwriting because it has improved a lot from last year.

The way to show it in class is that only one person should be talking at a time.

Bike safety

Goal- Recount what you learned at bike safety

Goal-put capital letters in the right place.

On Tuesday we had bike safety at Toko School with Senior Jono.

First he told us all about a bike, the middle of the bike is called  a frame. After that we went outside and got our bikes then we went around the basketball courts pretending it was a road. There was a roundabout, a ramp and a one lane     road. Finally  we went around that for half an hour  then we went down to the backfield and had a race. Declan won the fast race and i won the slow race.i liked bike safety because it tot us all about the road.  and then it was over.

Business reflection

Over the last few weeks we have been researching and looking at websites about our business. My group is looking at making a nest for Fluffy feet. I have learnt that you have to make sure that the  nesting box is not to hi of the grand. We have decided that we will work together as a whole class to yos personal best to work at our business so we can get further. We will be trying to sell chickens,make graphs,make grain,compost,build nesting boxes and growing food.

There is a monster in the toilet.
Sam borrows his sisters phone.
The monster comes out and snatches the phone off him.
He flushes himself own the toilet.
He chases the monster down the sewers and Ends up at the monster's cave.
He Shows the monster something funny.
Then he gets his phone back.

In Sam's toilet there is a monster, not any monster, a sewerage monster. One day Sam borrowed his sister's phone she had a cool fart app that could make the most funniest sounds. He was laughing so loud he did not hear the sewerage monster come out of the toilet. Then the monster grabbed the phone and flushed himself down the toilet . Then the only way to get the phone back was to flush himself down the loo too. Then he followed the monster to his cave. He creeped up behind the monster and then the monster started to make the fart noise on the app. When the monster was laughing at the app Sam creeped up behind the monster and grabbed his phone..

The invention.

Hemi had to mow the lawns every weekend he did not like mowing the lawns but he did not have a choice. He said there must be another way of mowing the lawns.
So Hemi decided to make a great machine. So he got some string , a laser, a blender, a nose trimmer, a steak knife and a computer. Then he made a great machine, it took him all night.

 In the morning Hemi took his machine outside .Then Hemi’[s robot actually worked, Hemi could not believe his eyes when his robot was mowing the lawns.  He was so relieved so he chill-axed on a chair, then he fell asleep then he was woken up by some grumpy people. Oh no where did Hemis machine go?

 Then he went into town and saw big buildings on the ground. He saw all the cats and dogs chasing his machine. Hemi got chased by all the people in town. When he got his robot the robot went up in the air, then Hemi tried to yank his invention down but it did not work. Then he started to rise up in the air and then he went past the clouds and as soon as you know it they were up in space. Hemi got his machine and switched it of. Then they were flying down from space like a rocket and they landed right on the trampoline and Hemi quickly put his invention away so his dad didn’t know.

What i did- i made a tree we used water pencils for the sun set in the background and then cut of a piece of black paper and shaped it into a tree and painted green and red leaves and flowers.

One day there was a big boy called Sean. He ruled the neighborhood. He was quite a big deal. When a bus came along that was full of kids he saw it and he was so excited. He decided to lift it up and shake the bus like a chicken getting plucked. The kids started flying like a bird out of the bus. Sadly Sean stole the lunch box off an even smaller kid.

Then Big Steve came along, he was a new kid he was an even bigger kid, he was a bigger deal. Then he poured a bucket of paint on Sean because Sean ate the chicken nuggets in the lunch box when big Steve wanted them.

Suddenly it was time for the smaller kids to bite back so they made a plan to order some inflatable chicken nuggets. 2 minutes later the nuggets came. Are they dumber than that because they didn't know that they were inflatable nuggets. They ate them like a monster.

After their monstrous feed they blew up like a balloon and they flew to space.  They ran into a rocket then they popped. They sprinted down to the ground. After their flight they saw the kids they went like “do you want to come and play laser tag” “I'm in” said another kid then Big Stuart came to town, a humongous kid…..

On Monday after the week end I went into  class to look at the incubator I saw a chick and his name was Barry he is black and wite he is qut and cadly. Arfter school I went home and told mum. The next day I saw three more chicks in the incubater it was so exciting and then I looked in the broder box and there were five more. One of them was mine. I have yeh same size chick as Declan's. My chicken is named Geff. He is a golden chick. Mine is very friendly and nice.

On one frozen morning mr Dillon brought some eggs not just eny eggs chicken eggs.for one week
We tipped them over and then it was ready to go into the encuabater and hopping it will hatch in 21 days .we are still hopping that at the moment it tipes to each side. I am really excited about if  there are blue chick lets or just normal yellow hopefully they are ready on Monday. If we will have try again.

Friday 23 June

What- I did the squirrel slide and I learnt a lot about squirrels. It is really interesting.

So what-I want to know how to make it better and more information so I know what to do

Guess what- I learnt that squirrels can be rodents and eat a lot.

My favourite activity so far this year was- the sports with whiz because it gives us a lot of tips about rugby to help us.

I was helpful to someone else when- i helped someone put their Bio poem onto their on to their blog.

Something i have learned so far this year was- i learnt that 209+209=580.

The piece of work i am most proud of is - my chicken food slide because i went over to read it and it gave you lots of information.

My next learning step is - to get two steps up reading levels of journals.

Camp 2017

It was the last day of camp at night time on Tuesday night we did a night work. Mr dillon set up a rope for us to hold on to.

First you went through some Manuka and went into the Goblin forest.i was buzzing with excitement there was a little pet scruffy in some places.It was cooled as smithereens there was came up on the grass and into the aether side.it was nearly the end and then toppy was there and he made possum noises it was funny
